Booking Terms & Conditions

Iris Photography & Creative Portrait Studio

  1. Booking & Payment
  • A non‑refundable booking fee of £30 is required to secure your session.
  • Your appointment is confirmed only once the booking fee has been received.
  • The remaining balance is due on or before the day of your session.
  • Payments are accepted via bank transfer, card, or approved online methods.
  1. Rescheduling & Cancellations
  • You may reschedule once at no charge with at least 48 hours’ notice.
  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice result in the loss of the booking fee.
  • If Optic Artistry must cancel due to illness, emergency, or equipment issues, you may choose a full refund or a new appointment date.
  1. Late Arrivals
  • Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time to ensure fairness for all clients.
  • Late arrival may shorten your session.
  • Arrivals more than 30 minutes late may require rescheduling, and the booking fee may be forfeited.
  1. Studio Use & Conduct
  • Please treat the studio space, equipment, with care.
  • Children must be supervised at all times.
  • No smoking, vaping, or hazardous materials are permitted in the studio.
  1. Eye Safety & Comfort (Iris Photography Specific)
  • Optic Artistry uses controlled, studio‑grade lighting designed for close‑up eye photography.
  • Clients may request breaks at any time if they experience discomfort or sensitivity.
  • Contact lenses can remain in, but please inform the photographer if you have any eye conditions, recent procedures, or sensitivities.
  1. Image Delivery
  • Edited digital images are delivered within 3-5 days via a secure online gallery or download link.
  • Additional edits or artistic enhancements beyond the chosen package may incur extra fees.
  1. Copyright & Usage
  • All images remain the copyright of Optic Artistry.
  • Clients receive a personal‑use licence for printing, sharing, and display.
  • Images may not be altered, sold, or used commercially without written permission.
  1. Portfolio & Promotional Use
  • Optic Artistry may use images for portfolio, website, social media, and promotional materials.
  • If you prefer your images to remain private, please request this in writing before your session.
  1. Client Responsibilities
  • Please arrive prepared with any preferred clothing, makeup, or accessories.
  • Inform the photographer in advance of any accessibility needs, allergies, or sensitivities.
  • For iris photography, avoid heavy eye makeup or oils around the eye area on the day of your session.
  1. Liability
  • Optic Artistry are not liable for injuries, accidents, or damage to personal property during your session.
  • The studio is not responsible for delays caused by technical issues, weather, or circumstances beyond our control.
  1. Agreement
  • By booking a session with Optic Artistry, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
