Before you book
A little planning for your visit
What does a normal sitting include?
Every iris photography session includes your iris capture, one high-quality 8 × 6 print and a digital image optimised for social media. Your simple iris artwork and included print are prepared for you to take home on the day. Optional collection upgrades add the artwork described above.
Can I book without an artwork upgrade?
Yes. Choose your sitting and continue without selecting a collection. Your included print and digital image are still part of the experience. You can explore the different wall art finishes before deciding which artwork suits your home.
How long should I allow?
The photography takes around 10–15 minutes per person. Allow around 30–45 minutes for one person, with extra time for couples, groups and artwork choices. The booking calendar allows time for the sitting you select.
Where is the studio?
Visit us at 49 Redbreast Road, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH9 3AL. Our studio includes access ramps, wheelchair-friendly spaces and adjustable photography stations. Please contact us before booking if you would like help planning an accessible visit.
Can I pay a 50% deposit or pay in full?
Yes. Choose either a 50% deposit or the full amount during booking. Your deposit includes your sitting and any selected collection upgrade. Checkout shows the booking total and remaining balance. Any odd penny is included in the deposit.
Which payment methods can I use?
Pay securely by card through Mollie, or redeem an Optic Artistry Square gift card at checkout. Klarna is offered only when you choose to pay the full amount, subject to availability and approval by Klarna.
Can I use an Optic Artistry Square gift card?
Yes. Enter your gift-card number in the secure “Have a Square Gift Card?” field at checkout and select Apply. If your gift card does not cover the amount due today, use the Square card option for the remaining balance. Keep your gift card available when booking and present it when purchasing artwork.
